San Marino Approves On Site Alcohol in Restaurants
San Marino City Council approves beer and wine sales for on site consumption at restaurants with hours limited to 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and other restrictions including 500 foot distance from schools and 25 percent cap on beer and wine sales of total on site food sales. Granada Avenue Residents Back Measure to Curb Traffic
Under Proposition 218 the City Council reviewed ballots on the Granada Avenue Assessment District to fund traffic circles chokers landscaping curbs gutters and lights along Granada Avenue from Huntington Cave to Alhambra Road. Residents led by Gene Ruckh reported two thirds approval and the council adopted Resolution R98-1 forming the district with 22 yes 7 no votes and a few disputed ballots.
