The measure would credit individuals for taxes already paid and boost growth, reduce unemployment, and spur investment, arguing current tax bite often exceeds 60 percent. San Marino approves rubberized asphalt on Los Robles

The San Marino City Council voted unanimously to spend over 350000 dollars, largely from Proposition C reserves, to pave Los Robles Avenue with rubberized asphalt between Huntington Drive and the northern border. Sylvia Construction will handle the project, set to start in spring, while MTA plans reduce Los Robles bus trips from 105 to 87 when the Gold Line opens in June and shift to 35 foot buses. City officials say noise will drop by 10 to 20 decibels and life expectancy will rise, improving residents’ quality of life.
