New Gate at Hill-Harbison House Eases Access

Hill-Harbison House gains a new gate and refurbished walkway bringing ADA compliance and easier access for Hill-Harbison House occupants and visitors. San Marino forms steering panel for community campus project

The San Marino City Council and School Board created a joint steering committee to plan a community campus at the West and Huntington Drives site. Mayor Lin and Councilman Filutze will lead for the city. two school board members will join next Tuesday. The project envisions a gymnasium, parking solutions, and district office space, tied to the library, district offices, Huntington Middle School, and the San Marino Woman's Club area.

YMCA Hosts Open House Saturday

The San Marino South Pasadena YMCA invites the public to its annual Open House on Saturday January 10 2004 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The center features an indoor heated pool water exercise classes lap swimming recreational swimming swim lessons and a Fitlinxx computerized workout tracker plus a 12 week personalized fitness program with group classes such as yoga Pilates Tai chi and aerobics.

Rec Dept Announces 6'2 and Under Men’s Hoop League Start

Play starts February 8 with a 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. junior times and an Open League 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at San Marino High gym. Restrictions include 18+ age, max ten players per roster, 6'2" height cap, uniforms with numbers. No high school players. Sundays through April 4, 2004. Fee $425 per team.
