Positive Rabies Case Reported After Dog Picked Up
Police warn owners to keep dogs from running at large and urge immediate reporting of animal indiscretions. A dog picked up by the Humane Society near Los Robles and Ashbourne showed positive rabies signs after a child telephoned in, describing the dog's condition. Porter Bruck Resigns From San Marino School Board
Porter Bruck resigned from the San Marino Elementary School Board after five years of service. He cited time demands from his role as vice president of the Title Insurance and Trust Company and his recent election as president of the American Title Association. The board appointed C. W. Cornell, attorney and civic leader, to fill the vacancy. Cornell has represented Pacific Electric Railway and is a former San Marino City Club president.
