Tragic Auto Accident Claims Lives of Two Former Residents

Debbie Nesbit and her 13 year old son Michael died in a 1997 Chevy Suburban crash on Interstate 5 near Bakersfield while returning from a family funeral. Husband Scott and son Andrew Nesbit were injured. Graham Nesbit was unhurt. Andrew recently earned the Eagle Scout award and led a blood drive at San Marino Fire Department. The Tribun will publish a full obituary next week.

Nesbit Memorial Service Set for Sunday in Glendale

A memorial service for Debbie and Michael Nesbit, who died in a New Year’s Eve crash, will be held Sunday at Temple Sinai 1212 N Pacific Ave Glendale starting at 2:00 p.m. A reception follows at the San Marino home of John and Meg Symes 1475 Circle Drive. Service and reception open to Nesbit family friends. funeral details unavailable.

Deadline Approaching for Rotary Ambassadorial Scholarships

Rotary Foundation Ambassadorial Scholarships for 2004-05 open applications in December from the San Marino Rotary Club. Local graduates have studied in Hong Kong, Australia, England, and Italy.
