Among 198 California cities submitting applications, SMnet is a joint venture of the San Marino Unified School District Huntington Library and the City of San Marino. It serves as a central forum for educational cultural and civic information among residents and major institutions. Established 1995 as a community Internet site.

Recycling Helps Safeguard Environment in San Marino
