City Trustees Hear Rodent Problem and Road Plans

Boy Scouts Receive Truck In San Marino Celebration

The Boy Scouts of San Marino welcomed a W. L. Valentine donated truck at the city park cabin. The khaki vehicle cost 1600 dollars and features red lettering and the San Marino Troops emblem. Scouts plan rose tournament float work and a late December trip to Big Pines Camp in the Pasadena San Gabriel Council. Troop 1’s Clyde Hurley and Troop 2’s Carrol Holt lead arrangements.

Kievits Jr. Cleared in Reckless Driving Case

Jules Kievits Jr of 2930 Monterey Road San Marino was fined 35 dollars by Judge Snyder of South Pasadena for infringing the ordinance and cleared of wilful recklessness in the accident involving Erica Koller. The judge noted lack of wantonness but said the defendant failed to observe the dangerous corner.
