The Titans defeated Azusa and Montclair to reach the finals and then beat an unnamed opponent 84 to 54 last Friday night to clinch first place in the Azusa Tournament. Bill Rutz scored 21 points to lead the team.
John W. Mann was inducted as president of the San Marino Board of Realtors at a gala Christmas luncheon at Brookside Clubhouse Marino and Arcadia. Others were inducted as well.
Youngsters should lock bikes and store them in garages when not in use. Obey traffic rules and signs and signal correctly. Walk bikes across intersections. Only one rider per bike. In darkness use lights and reflectors. Choose safe routes and avoid busy streets. Yield to pedestrians.

San Marino residents fill top roles in the Tournament of Roses as presidents and life directors. Local names include H. W. Bragg Stanley K. Brown Walter R. Hoefflin Jr. Harlan G. Loud Gleeson L. Payne and Alexander H. Gaal plus Fred W. Soldwedel and Jack D. Whitehead guiding parade operations and equestrian committees. William G. Lawson heads as executive secretary and manager.
