New Recipe for Hot Dogs Ends in House Fire
Ralph A. Lewis of 1371 Dyke Road built a bed warmer for his dog by placing a light globe in a Mason jar and powering it. At 3 AM Friday the San Marino fire department responded to a porch fire started by the overheated device. The flame burned the blanket and linoleum to the sub-floor, causing substantial damage. the dog Poochie was unhurt.
