The San Marino Woman's Club held its annual Christmas meeting at Huntington School Auditorium with a pageant by Huntington School’s seventh and eighth graders and a talk by Brother Leo on “The Open Mind.” Decorations by Mrs. L C Miller featured poinsettias, holly and candles. President Mrs Herbert D Ivey welcomed guests and Mrs Ernest Purdum outlined January guild activities.

Crash Victim Warren Byrd Dies in County Hospital
Twenty one year old Warren Byrd of Long Beach died in County Hospital after injuries from a December 14 motorcycle collision with a Ford driven by Harold Walk of Monterey Park. The crash happened at Los Robles and Marengo avenues.
