Cushman elected president of Pasadena City College Foundation
John C. Cushman was elected December 11 to lead the Pasadena City College Foundation. He serves as president of the Pasadena Bar Association and Huntington Medical Research Institute, and sits on boards of the Pasadena Rotary Club, Metropolitan YMCA, and Historical Society. He plans the foundation's first fundraising drive and new committees while continuing his law practice in Pasadena. He and his family live on Chandler Place.

Dr. Hugh A Edmondson and his wife Dorothy were feted as the Hugh and Dorothy Edmondson Basic Research Fund was created to support ophthalmic research at the Estelle Doheny Eye Foundation. Edmondson led the foundation as president for 12 years and oversaw major moves and new facilities on the USC Health Sciences Campus.
