Death Takes Member Of Pioneer Family
Hancock Banning, pioneer California figure and Los Angeles native daughter, died yesterday at her home in San Marino. She moved from Los Angeles to San Marino about 18 months ago as the Bannings marked the family’s 100th California settlement anniversary. Funeral services will be held tomorrow at the Church of Our Saviour in San Gabriel with burial in Inglewood Cemetery. Survivors include Hancock Banning Jr. of this city, George Hugh ing of La Jolla, seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
