The San Marino Woman's Club held its December meeting at Hunt School with a Christmas bazaar raising funds and a 1:30 pm program in the auditorium. Guests were members' children. decorations by Mrs. Hamilton Keller and Lawrence L. Hull created a Santa atmosphere. President Mrs. Eugene C. Myers opened with holiday goodwill as Muriel Donnellan played harp and Veronica Oppenheim gave readings to warm applause. Tea followed in the gym with tables prepared by Mrs. Howard W. Seidell and hospitality chairwoman Mrs. Richard F. Hoffman.

Fifty Dollars and Wrist Watch Taken in Sunday Night Holdup
Rolla E. Herdlick of 2770 Ardmore Road reported a strong-arm robbery on Oak Knoll avenue Sunday night. About 6 30 pm the suspect demanded her purse stealing $50 and a wrist watch then forced her to lie on the ground before fleeing toward Monterey road in a car. The thief was unarmed according to the victim though overpowering her. Police were alerting nearby towns as they investigated a detailed description provided by Mrs Herdlick.

McCornack Patients to Get Phonographs
