Local businesspeople and residents will gather at the San Marino avenue and Huntington drive junction this Saturday to erect the Little Christmas Church a community symbol of Christmas tradition. Paul Cunningham who originated the project has overseen preparations painting repairs and window frames with help from neighbors and friends.

Funeral Services Held Monday For Philip G. Gough
Funeral services were held at the Church of the Recessional in Forest Lawn for Philip George Gough who died December 5 in Huntington Memorial Hospital. A pioneer electrical appliance wholesaler, he founded Gough Industries and importers of British automobiles, with activities from Fresno to San Diego and in Arizona. He was born in Spokane and moved here in 1909, helping install electric street lights. he also led the Jonathan Club and San Gabriel Country Club. Survived by his widow Ethel C. Gough, a son Philip G. Gough Jr., and four daughters Merridy Bell, Carol Whedon, Shirley Robertson, and Ethel Weverka.
