Rose Journey Officials Envision Broadcast Tournament Parade
Enthusiastic officials and boosters met at a Maryland hotel to plan floats for the Tournament of Tosses. Donald E. McDonald of San Marino outlined aims to make the event illustrious and widely broadcast across the continent and to Europe. Charles Cobb introduced William Dunkerley, who noted labor provided by the tournament for unemployed men and women. Represented communities pledged strong floats. Long Beach Glendale Beverly Hills Arcadia Pasadena Pomona Alhambra and others from about 52 locales will participate in the parade. The San Marino editor presented the local contingent.

Stoneman P T A Proposes Two Bus Start Times
At the Stoneman school regular meeting on December 8 the George S. Stoneman Parent-Teacher Association unanimously voted to send letters to all parents presenting two bus plan options. One plan starts at 8 30 a m and the other at 9 a m. The 8 30 a m start is in effect. The executive board prepared the letter December 2 at the school board’s request to clarify the bus change from 9 to 8 50 a m.
