Fire Damages Home on Monterey Road in San Marino
About $7500 in damage occurred last Sunday when a fire swept a Monterey Road residence owned by Miss Minne Belle. Chief Art Hughes of the San Marino Fire Department said the blaze started in a bedroom and damaged interior furnishings before neighbors alerted the department. The flames extended through walls and mixtures at the end of the room, with difficult access noted by the chief.
