Dryden Elected San Marino Council Head for 1947
Harold E. Dryden was named president of the San Marino Community Council for 1947 at the annual meeting in the San Marino City Hall. Clyde Holley will retire at year end. New officers include John Barton as first vice president and Mrs. McIntyre Faries as second vice president. Additional directors-at-large and committee appointments were announced, with many terms carrying into 1948 and 1949. The Community Chest drive was reported to have raised over 29,200 in retirements and is expected to top 39,000 with all reports.

Library Guard Frank E. Bentley Dies at 71
