More than 1,000 spectators hailed Mike Antonovich at his swearing in as Fifth District Supervisor. San Marino resident Kathleen Crow began her new post as his chief deputy, one of the few women in the role. John W Devereux, chamber head of solicitations, has asked local businessmen to back the Community Chest drive. The San Marino Chamber presented a $100 check showing business backing as Larry Goodreau, acting president, reports $30,000 raised toward an $78,450 goal and urges residents to mail pledges to the San Marino Community Council at P.O.
