Citizens along Huntington drive witnessed the start of construction on the new primary building east of Huntington school. Harry F. Jewelry Stolen by Colored Maid Recovered by Police
Pasadena police recovered a $1100 diamond pendant and a ring with diamonds and sapphires after arresting a sister of the maid who confessed to stealing jewelry and liquor from Mrs. J. Chalmers Wright of 1616 Hilliard Drive. The 16 year old wore the pendant at Washington Junior High when officers seized it. The maid had supplied liquor to friends and promised cash repayment.

Silver Queen float chosen for San Marino 25th anniversary parade
San Marino selects the Silver Queen design for the Rose Parade entry honoring the city's silver birthday. Citizens and groups raised 1000 dollars in three weeks with 700 donated or pledged locally and 300 to come from the City Council, funding a lavender white float with silver queen attire.
