A San Marino Unity Church corporation meeting is set for Sunday morning September 9 at the Hunting Drive Virginia Road site to approve architecture and build plans and to discuss finance for a building fund. Funeral services for Robert F. Garner Jr. of 939 Avondale Road are set for 2 p.m. Friday in San Bernardino. Garner, 49, a prominent Southern California business leader and past State Commander of the American Legion, died of a heart attack at home after a buying trip to New Mexico and Arizona. He is survived by his widow, Gossett, and his son, Captain Jack Garner, who has served in the European war theater since North Africa.
