San Marino Youth Injured At the Beach
Elbert Easterbrook son of Mr and Mrs Harry D Easterbrook of 2405 Coniston Place was attacked by an intoxicated man at Santa Monica Beach last Saturday night. He was knocked unconscious after a blow to the jaw and later treated for a blood clot and facial injuries. He later injured his left arm when a tire air hose burst at a South Pasadena service station.

Deep base ment at Cal Tech for astrophysics lab

Family Away Myers Residence Burglarized
Mr and Mrs E C Myers of 2828 Fleur Drive were away for the weekend at Manhattan Beach when burglars entered their home on the night of the 16th. They stole securities, money, rings and watches totaling 2000 dollars. Two watches seven rings and 75 dollars in cash were taken along with a piece of antique jewelry. Entry was gained by cutting the screen and forcing the breakfast room lock. Chief of Police Ben Parker is pursuing all available leads.
