Four More San Marino Scouts Achieve Eagle Rank
James McDonnell earned Eagle Scout at BSA Court of Honor January 28 at Huntington Middle School. A Loyola High School graduate and four year football player, he joined Troop 355 after Pack 354 and completed 24 merit badges. He led as Assistant Senior Patrol, Historian and Patrol Leader and worked on updating the emergency preparedness bin at Valentine Elementary. Eugene, a San Marino High junior, also earned Eagle after helping with park shed restoration at Lacy Park and earning 24 merit badges including Small Boat Sailing. Derrick Lin of Troop 139 earned Eagle January 17 as San Marino High School graduate and Titan XC co captain with 26 merit badges and multiple awards. Michael Katz of Troop 355 was elevated to Eagle January 28 after 34 merit badges and a puppy room remodel at the San Gabriel Valley Humane Society. he attends San Marino High School and aims for USC and veterinary medicine.

City Council and School Board Extend Parking Talks
