Seven Traffic Charges Filed by Police Court
The city police court opened with seven charges on the docket all relating to minor violations of the California State Vehicle Act and city ordinance. Fines were five dollars each, except one offender who initially refused to sign a ticket and was later bailed at thirteen dollars. Those before the court included Holland for intersection speeding, Edwards and Lancent who did not answer, G A Johnson fined five dollars for parking without a light, Edward Stagg fined five dollars for the same offense, William-Blackstone whose case was continued last week and fined three dollars for speeding, and J Banderio fined for parking without a light.
