San Marino Council backs nine crossing guards funding
San Marino City Council will fund nine crossing guards and cover workers compensation for 1979 80, matching last year’s count. The decision aligns with the school board on district boundaries and shifting walk routes toward Huntington School, with guard placement at San Marino Avenue and Huntington Drive. The cost for nine guards totals 20968 40, and the plan avoids removing the Huntington Drive Palomar guard due to lack of traffic signals.
