Trio Indicted In Bribery Case

Norton to Attend USAF Reunion in Las Vegas
Rolla W. Norton of Windsor Road will attend the 13th Bomb Squadron USAF Reunion in Las Vegas Nevada from August 15 through 17. Norton, one of 55 remaining World War I combat pilots, served in Verdun in 1918 flying a Spad. The event will feature a Las Vegas strip flyover at 1 p.m. Saturday. Norton has lived in San Marino 43 years and has worked at Crescent Refining & Oil Co since 1919. He is active in the American Legion and is an Honorary Life Member of the Association of Professional Ball Players. He and his wife Lylae Ann Norton have three children in San Marino and multiple grandchildren.

City Hikes Budget and Sets Tax Rate for Approval
The council received the official budget of 1,807,989 and a tax rate of 1.56 per 100 of assessed valuation, down 11 cents from last year’s 1.67. The rate and budget were presented for approval.

Detective Cunning to Speak at San Marino Rotary Lunch
San Marino Rotarians will meet at Woody's and Eddy's at noon with Detective Robin Cunning as the luncheon speaker.
