Two Petty Thefts Reported In Local Week
Police report two petty thefts in the past week. A General Petroleum station at Huntington and Granada was entered Thursday night. a thief bent the iron grill and stole a battery per manager Doc Tyler. A minor theft occurred at a house under construction by Raymond A Dorn Company at 865 Chester on Friday night with tools valued at $12 stolen.

A 2:30 am Huntington drive stop led to August A. New Comet Discovered by Dr E T Hubble
Dr Edwin T Hubble of Mt Wilson Observatory announces a new comet in Aquarius seen faint and diffuse at thirteenth magnitude. The object lies in the southern sky, distant from Finsler, and will be hard to observe even with large telescopes. It is the third comet found since February 7 and requires more photographs to determine brightness and trajectory.
