The Oscar Rasbach composition Mountains was performed by the Salt Lake Tabernacle Choir on KNX radio Sunday evening. Originating as a 1930 vocal solo, it is now arranged for mixed chorus and four part women voices. The inspiration comes from a Leigh Hanes poem from Roanoke West Virginia. Composer Rasbach has lived in San Marino for 20 years at 2365 Ridge Road and is known for his Trees.

Sergeant Frank B. Corrigan of the Sheriff's office told Kiwanis members at Marine House that ninety percent of delinquency starts at home. He argued Sunday church attendance helps prevent crime and described causes such as lack of parental restraint and excessive allowances.
