San Marino Considers Driver Training via Simulator Program

San Marino School Board discussed a new driver education model using Santiago Driving Schools to deliver training with a simulator and POS pupil. Thompson promoted to first vice president at Security Pacific Bank

Tom D Thompson rises to first vice president in Security Pacific National Banks California Banking Office System while serving as administrator of the Hollywood Glendale region in the Northwestern Division. Murder Well Rehearsed leads San Marino youth film project

San Marino resident company United Productions led by San Marino High School junior Steve Bennett plans its second feature Murder Well Rehearsed. Ginger Brenner and Ellen Bailey direct with local players Peggy Ebright George Cummings and San Marinans in the cast. The project follows The Bat produced last year and filmed by Bennett with a student crew. The first film The Rat screened on PBS Channel 28 after re filming and lessons learned.

Woman Loses SM Bank Suit After Pregnant Resignation Claim

Glendora resident Jeri Ann Hammon sued Bank of San Marino in Pasadena Superior Court, alleging breach of oral employment contract and firing over pregnancy. She settled for 250 dollars after seven years with the bank. a defamation suit was dropped. Judge Arch Tuthill denied reinstatement, back pay, and maternity benefits, noting low likelihood of winning at trial. Page 8.
