Burglaries Keep Local Police Busy In San Marino Area

In a chase along Gainsborough to Cumberland Road two suspects were captured after officers used a perimeter including a helicopter. Police recovered the purse containing twenty five dollars and various items. Other break ins on Vandyke Road and Oak Knoll Avenue involved window access and jewelry losses, with neighbors noting distant activity and neighboring homes also hit. Detectives traced suspects through sightings by neighbors and coordinated responses from multiple agencies.
