Youth Escapes Serious Hurts In Auto Mishap
Mike Osborn eight son of Mr and Mrs R E Osborn of Monterey road narrowly escaped death or serious injury Tuesday after being struck by a car near the Granada Huntington drive intersection. He ran from a school bus into the path of a car driven by Mrs Gayle Nicholls of San Gabriel and was treated at Huntington Memorial Hospital. Police said the bus was parked at the curb when the mishap occurred. Mike had been participating in a recreation sponsored project prior to the accident.
