Woman Kidnapped and Robbed in San Marino Car Lure
A local woman, Pearl R. Schmidt, 67, was persuaded into a large black car by two women on San Gabriel Boulevard and Duarte Road. After about 20 minutes of driving, authorities say the suspects released her without further harm. Rings valued at 400 to 500 dollars were targeted. Police seek more information. A separate report notes attempted auto thefts on Blackstone Road and a felon with a firearm arrest of Sean Patrick O Hara, 37, in Pasadena.
