San Marino National Little League invites families to an evening of fun and fireworks at Huntington Middle School East Field on Friday May 2 from 5 to 8 pm. Adults pay 20 dollars for a 10 swing entry, while kids derby and inflatables up to age 8 are free. Food from Joanne's Grill includes tri-tip sandwiches, burgers and hot dogs. CATS Musical at San Marino High School Opens Soon
Opening night for CATS at San Marino High School is Friday April 25 at 7 30 p m in Neher Auditorium with 46 drama dance and choir students. Remaining shows run April 26 27 April 30 May 1 and May 2 with all seats reserved and ticket prices 15 for adults 7 for students. City Receives Five Bids From Architects for Center
City Manager Matt Ballantyne has five bids from architects to develop cost estimates schedules and drawings for a proposed community center on the former San Marino Women's Club site. Thurnher Home Observes Citys 95th Tomorrow
San Marino marks its 95th birthday on Friday April 25 dating from its 1913 establishment. The Thurnher Home at Lacy Park hosts 11 am to 2 pm with punch cookies a photo display of Lacy Park construction aerials from the 1920s and war memorial story boards. Carver 2nd Grader to Play In Charity Golf Tournament
Eric Means son of James and Huong Means will play in the inaugural Carver Valentine Charity Golf Tournament at Oak Valley Golf Club in Beaumont this Sunday April 27. He often shoots in the 90s at Brookside in Pasadena and his family will donate Baskin Robbins gift certificates to all participants. The event features a Woods Lehman charity matchup and proceeds benefit the San Marino School District budget with co sponsorship from the Chinese Club of San Marino.
