San Marino invites residents to apply for three year terms on the Public Library Board of Trustees. Meetings are monthly on the third Monday at 7:30 a.m. at Crowell Public Library. Residency required. submit by 4:00 p.m. April 28 to City Clerk Carol Robb at San Marino City Hall.

San Marino council candidate Ben Salvaty dies suddenly
Ben Salvaty a 41 year San Marino resident and former Traffic Commission member who campaigned for city council died Saturday at Huntington Memorial Hospital Pasadena after recent surgery complications. A rosary will be held April 18 and a funeral Mass April 19 at St Therese. Loyola High School and classmates remember him as a generous, optimistic, loyal leader with deep family ties.
