San Marino resident named chair of Five Acres board

Gary K. Blasiar was installed as chair of Five Acres board at a public meeting Tuesday. He founded Alert Communications in South Pasadena and has served on the Five Acres board for nine years, most recently as vice chair for business affairs. Five Acres, founded in 1888, is among the first orphanages in Los Angeles County.

Markman urges PAC to reject San Marino settlement

Markman requests the Public Utilities Commission reject a proposed settlement over San Marino's dispute with California American Water. He argues the deal fails PUC standards and would block renegotiation. All City Track Meet at SMHS Tomorrow Night
