Coastkeeper hosts field trip for Shorecliffs sixth graders
About 360 sixth graders from Shorecliffs Middle School in San Clemente visited San Onofre State Beach for a watershed education field trip presented by Orange County Coastkeeper. Students hiked from San Mateo Campground to Trestles Beach, tested water, explored dunes, and picked up trash, learning how watersheds shape coastal ecosystems and how pollution can reach the ocean.
