San Clemente supports sensory garden for universal playground
The City Council backed a conceptual plan to add interactive sensory features to Courtney's SandCastle in Vista Hermosa, including a water sphere and tidal pool, and approved up to 110000 in city funds to match $120000 raised by the foundation to complete Phase 2. The $450000 sensory garden aims to aid developmentally disabled children alongside existing equipment at the playground opened Feb 25.
