Bay Leaf to replace Zona's in San Clemente Plaza
Bay Leaf, a Mediterranean restaurant with dishes from Spain Italy Greece and Morocco, plans to open in July in the former Zona's Italian American Restaurant at 647 Camino De Los Mares beside San Clemente's Krikorian theater. Zona's closed in March after seller Richard Zona passed the business to Vince Bevany and a co-owner. Offers lunch and dinner including seafood tapas lamb chops pasta falafel hummus prepared by head chef Wick Vahdati.
