Painters compete in 11th Paint San Clemente plein-air event
San Clemente hosts the 11th annual Paint San Clemente plein-air contest with a Quick Draw. Fullerton instructor Sung Su won first for Stay Quiet for a While, earning 1500 dollars. Marileigh Schulte, Kevin Davidson, and Ben Young placed second through fourth with cash prizes. About 100 artists will work around the city this week, with a gala and sale at the Community Center Saturday evening.
