Yanaura started Wear a Pair Bring a Pair after her son Tom, a Los Angeles officer killed seven years ago. She asks schools across the West Coast to host a Pajama Day to collect new pajamas for foster children who arrive with nothing. Hundreds of Concordia Elementary students in pajama tops filled collection bins for PJs from Heaven, a Laguna Niguel charity by Sharon Yanaura. The districtwide drive across 28 Capistrano Unified schools aims to aid foster children with donated sleepwear this December.
