Postoffice Inspectors W. T. Fletcher and R. M. Hosford have been subpoenaed to appear before a federal grand jury in San Antonio Texas. They left for Texas today to testify about the government campaign against the lottery business.

Austin May 6 James Martin 28 shot himself with a 38 Cal Colts in his brother's house after a brief talk with relatives about fishing. He had been suffering from consumption and died of self inflicted gunshot. He was the son of Travis county commissioner J C Martin and left no note.
