Railroad Rebate Bill Conferees Agree on Seven Members
Washington D C June 2 The conference report on the railroad rebate bill was submitted to the senate and will be called up Monday. Conference receded from 45 amendments while the Senate kept six leading changes. The anti Jim Crow provision was abandoned and the seven member commission with a 10000 salary was fixed. secretary 10000 and assistant secretary 4000. The bill, as passed by both chambers, takes effect immediately.
