Miss Erna Helen Hugo died yesterday evening at 728 Main avenue, the home of Mr and Mrs Charles Hugo. She was 16 and had been ill a week. The funeral is set for 4 o clock this afternoon.

Washington February 13 The fate of the bill to close the Pass Loutre crevasse rests with Speaker Reed who has been asked to make it a privileged measure for House consideration Monday. Information on necessity for legislation has been provided and passage hinges on recognition of Chairman Hooker to call up the bill.

Lexington police report a brutal domestic tragedy at 7 45 am as John Marrs killed his four year old son John wounded his daughter Helen attempted to kill Ida Marrs and then took his own life. Mrs Marrs and Ida suffered injuries while Helen survived though unconscious.

Widewater Virginia February 13 The light house steamer Maple dropped anchor off Widewater station of the Richmond Fredericksburg and Potomac railroad with President Cleveland aboard invited by D. G. Gautier of New York to shoot ducks from blinds on Arkdale farm three miles south of Widewater. The president and party went to the blinds and began shooting with good prospects for a fine day.
