Blind Flying Pioneer Dies at 32 in San Francisco
San Francisco resident Sepizi Gh-Col. David A. Myers, credited with developing blind flying techniques used by pilots, died at Letterman General Hospital after a long illness. He was 32, former chief surgeon of the Army Medical Corps under Gen H H Arnold in World War II, and earlier commanded the base hospital at Hamilton Field California before retiring in 1910.
