Accessibility Drives 1914 Marion Six Design Features
Alex Fraser of Fraser Auto Supply emphasizes accessibility as vital to car design and longevity. The 1914 Marion Six by J. I. Handley places Westinghouse starters, sparking and carburetion above frame line for quick access and large clutch hand-holes for easy interior work. Other four cylinder models share these refinements. Studebaker dealer Joseph De Bona notes quiet conditions near Eagle Pass amid regional tensions. Trade and political commentary follow, with local deliveries and visits by J. Beal Sneed and family to the Staacke Brothers garage.
