Prince of Wales not wed while loving London says biography
A new intimate biography claims the Prince of Wales delays marriage, driven by modern beliefs that love is unnecessary for kingship. It asserts he plans to rule differently than his father, values independence, and will remain unmarried to safeguard the throne. The book cites palace sources and King Edward VII’s words about a future monarch.
