A man escaped during the raid as three stills, mash, barrels, and 700 gallons of whiskey were seized from a woolen-structured complex. Charges were filed against Lyon Stepheng, T. Chapa, Frank Reyna and Johnnie White for possession and manufacture of intoxicating liquors. The owner is suspected to be a wealthy former whiskey salesman connected to the operation.
