Miniature House Plans Sell Well At San Antonio Display
In San Antonio a national magazine displayed miniature model houses for sale at about five dollars per set. Many visitors bought plans for fun, imagining furnishing the tiny homes for cramped quarters. Also noted is a growing trend of women pilots in Mexico with Mrs Carmela Garza Guajardo flying between Monterrey and San Antonio for shopping and dues. An Alma Lutz article urges women to study historic female pioneers beyond queens and first ladies, arguing neglect of women’s history among youth today.
