The funeral services for Dr John Kb Trabel 68 of 148 Mont Emin Pass will be held at Our Lady of Grace Church with a 7 20 p m rosary on Friday and a noon Saturday Requiem Mass followed by burial in Silly Fernando Cemetery. Survivors include his wife two daughters two brothers four sisters and other relatives. He practiced at Nix Hospital and was a member of several medical associations.

Harlingen policeman guilty in cocaine distribution case
Armando Steve Garcia, 38, of 4304 W Russell, was found guilty Thursday on charges of distributing cocaine. He claimed to act as an undercover informant with authority to sell drugs and is scheduled for sentencing Oct 12 in federal court before US District Judge Adnan Spears.
