Magnolias big acreage deal in Mexia field reported
In Mexia Texas Magnolia Petroleum Company reportedly purchased Western Oil Fields Corporation's Desenberg well and 20,000 acres for about 1,100,000. The Desenberg well produced an estimated 150,000 barrels daily at completion. Magnolia follows Teras in entering Mexia field. other Standard group members were negotiating for acreage.
