A North Side crowd last week devised a group entertainment idea using telephone dial words. They start with the exchange letter for Cathedral and pick two letters for each numeral to spell new words, turning dialing into a spelling game.

A fragment discusses a telephone dial word puzzle using Cathedral 2603 and how letters map to numbers. It mentions a theater quest prize idea and mocks Amateur dial word standings. It then describes Fort Sam Houston preparations for a German consul and a salute with limited guns, noting the army's emphasis on rank and protocol.

The text references Deputy Sheriff Westbrook Row and others connected to Medina lake lodge, listing names such as F Harold Babrock and F A Pitagerald.
